Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk, scalded
    4 c. cubed dry bread
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat milk.
    Put bread in it.
    Remove from burner.
    Let sit for 5 minutes.
    Add butter, salt, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Mix.
    Pour into greased dish and bake inside a pan of hot water for 40 to 50 minutes until firm.
