Moist Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. brown sugar, packed lightly
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Grease and flour 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Blend margarine, sugar, egg, vanilla and cocoa.
    Combine flour and salt.
    Add soda to buttermilk and stir until fizzes.
    Add flour and buttermilk alternately to creamed mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Cool before icing.
    Makes 12 servings.
