Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    4 eggs
    5 Tbsp. buttermilk
    3 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. whiskey
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. white raisins
    2 lb. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Measure flour; resift 2 1/2 cups with cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
    Cream butter with sugar; add slightly beaten eggs, flour and liquids.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Cut up candied fruit; add nuts.
    Mix with 1/2 cup flour.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased and floured cookie sheet.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
