Scalloped Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large yellow or zucchini squash
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 c. shredded cheese
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut squash up and put in a colander for 1 hour.
    Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Layer squash and sprinkle with flour and cut a few slices of butter between each layer.
    Also add salt and pepper to taste between each layer.
    After completing each layer, pour milk in, then sprinkle cheese on top and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6.
