Fried Apples(Serves 4 To 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
6 c. sliced, unpeeled Jonathan apples
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon rind
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt the butter in a large, heavy skillet.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook over medium-low heat, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
As they cook, turn the apples carefully with a spatula without breaking them.
