Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. box light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar.
    Gradually add white sugar and continue creaming.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Combine baking powder, salt and flour.
    Add shortening with milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Blend well.
    Pour into well greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
    Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
