S. O. S. - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
    2 1/2 c. wheat flour
    4 to 6 c. milk
    1/2 Tbsp. garlic
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; drain.
    Place into a large saucepan.
    Add butter and flour.
    Mix until butter is melted.
    Be sure flour does not stick.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Add 1 cup milk at a time, until ground beef floats.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Serve on warm toast.
