Butter Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. or little more water
    1 stick real butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Crust:
    Mix flour, shortening, salt and water.
    Make crust and divide into 3 pieces and roll each oblong.
    Take 1 stick real butter and 1/2 cup sugar and divide equally among the 3 crusts and fold each over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until very light brown and crust is done.
    Heat 1 1/2 cups sugar, milk and vanilla.
    Pour over pie crust and cook about 5 minutes.
