Sausage Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    3 c. potatoes, thinly sliced
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook sausage and drain. In a bowl, combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In an ungreased 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish, layer 1/2 the potatoes, soup mix and sausage.
    Repeat layers. Cover. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 or until potatoes are tender. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese.
    Return to oven about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
    Yields 4 to 5 servings.
