Crispy Fried Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 egg white
    1/2 tsp. hot sauce
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    4 large scraped carrots, cut into strips
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients; set aside. Beat egg white until foamy.
    Stir in buttermilk and hot sauce.
    Dip carrots in buttermilk mixture; drain off excess mixture and dredge in cornmeal mix.
    Fry carrots in 1-inch hot oil about 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
