Fudgy Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
    2 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 large egg whites
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a 2 to 3-quart pan, combine butter and cocoa.
    Stir over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and vanilla.
    Add egg and egg whites; beat until well blended.
    Stir in butter; blend well. Spread batter evenly in an oiled 9-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle walnuts over batter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until brownies feel dry on top (about 35 minutes).
    Let cool in pan on a rack, then cut into 2 1/4-inch squares.
    Store airtight.
    Makes about 16 brownies.
