Mocha Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (plain)
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. sour cream
    5 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    5 Tbsp. strong coffee
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream crisco and sugar.
    Add 1 egg yolk at a time, then add coffee and vanilla.
    Sift flour, cocoa, salt and soda 3 times. Add alternately with buttermilk and sour cream to cream mix.
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Makes 4 (8-inch) layers or 3 (9-inch) layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
