Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. nonfat milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
8 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Grease tube pan with vegetable spray and flour.
In mixing bowl, combine applesauce, vanilla and almond extract.
Set aside. In second bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Set aside.
In third bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, adding sugar slowly until peaks form.
Drizzle milk mixture and flour mixture into egg foam. Pour batter in tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
