Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken, cut up and boiled
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. butter or chicken fat
1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. chicken broth
4 c. cooked chicken, cut up in pieces
1 can drained peas
1 can mushroom caps
1/4 c. pimento
1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender but not brown.
Blend in flour and salt.
Gradually stir in broth.
Cook and stir until thick.
Add peas.
Chop cooked chicken into pieces.
Add mushroom caps, pimento and soup to chicken mixture.
Heat until bubbling. Pour into casserole dish and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until hot.
