Teriyaki Sauce(For 3 To 4 Pounds Of Meat Or Poultry) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. soy sauce
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. sherry or sake
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 1/2-inch piece ginger root, peeled and crushed
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Marinate meat a minimum of 1 hour to overnight.
    Sauce keeps well in refrigerator.
