Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg (beaten)
1/4 cup oil
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. In smaller bowl mix together milk, egg and oil.
Add milk mixture to flour mixture.
Stir only enough to mix.
Fill greased baking pan half full.
Bake at 425 degrees about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 6 servings.
For muffins baking time is 15 to 20 minutes.
