Apple Cake From Gram Sommer'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour
3 c. chopped apples
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (added last)

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients first.
Then cream oil, sugar and eggs.
Beat until creamy with electric beater and then add small amount of flour at a time.
Beat after each cup of flour.
This will be quite stiff.
Then add apples and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until tested done.
Makes 2 small or 1 large cake.
