Down Home Hot Dog Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck
    6 onions
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. barbecue sauce
    2 large cans tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. celery salt
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 c. brown sugar
    salt to taste
    1 large can tomato juice
    1 Tbsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown and drain chuck meat and onions, chopping with spatula while browning so the beef will be fine.
    Add garlic clove, then add in this order:
    tomato paste, tomato juice, barbecue sauce, sugar, mustard, garlic powder, parsley flakes, celery salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Simmer 6 to 8 hours in slow cooker.
    Yields approximately 4 quarts.
