Powdered Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
    3 c. cake flour, sifted
    6 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Gradually add powdered sugar; cream until light and fluffy. Beat in flour and eggs alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Stir in flavorings.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube cake pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for at least 1 hour before checking.
    Test for doneness.
    Cake begins to pull away from sides, or toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Turn out on cake rack to cool.
