Aunt Rose'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck
    1 c. oats
    1 c. tomato juice
    small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Combine beaten eggs, salt, pepper, ginger and onion.
    Add tomato juice, ground meat and oats; mix well.
    Shape into loaf and place on sprayed rack in roaster pan.
    Add 1/3 cup of water in bottom of roaster.
    Cover.
    Place in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Baste 2 times.
