Cocido Vegetalas (Vegetable Stew) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
2 sticks celery, sliced
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. kernel corn
1/2 c. diced fresh tomato
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. oregano (Italian seasoning can be substituted)
salt
pepper
Preparation

Put all ingredients into a saucepan; cover with water.
Cover with lid and cook until done.
It will take about 30 minutes. Drain the liquid before serving.
