Chocolate Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted cake flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter or oleo
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs, unbeaten
Preparation

Measure flour, sugar, salt, coconut, butter and milk into mixing bowl.
Beat vigorously by hand or mixer (medium speed) for 2 minutes.
Stir in baking powder and baking soda.
Add milk, eggs and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly by hand or mixer (medium speed) 2 minutes.
Pour into 2 deep 9-inch layer pans which have been rubbed with Crisco or lined with heavy wax paper.
