Eggnog Mallow Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 oz. petite marshmallows (about 3 c.)
    2/3 c. eggnog
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Butter sides of heavy 3-quart saucepan.
    Place sugar, marshmallows, eggnog, butter, corn syrup and salt in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring, until marshmallows are melted.
    Turn heat to medium and cook until mixture boils.
    Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, to 230\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add chocolate pieces and cook 5 minutes or until chocolate is completely melted.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Chill.
    Cut into squares. Yield:
    36 pieces.
