Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. ready to use mincemeat
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large mixing bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs (beat well).
Stir together dry ingredients, gradually add to shortening mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in mincemeat.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
