Strawberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box strawberry cake mix
    1 large pkg strawberry
    1 8 oz pkg strawberry glaze
    1 8 oz cool whip
Preparation
    Cut up strawberry into small pieces.
    Pour 1 cup sugar over them; let set over night in refrigerator.
    Drain juice out of berry; save the juice.
    Fix cake mix as direction, except put the juice in place of water.
    If not enough juice, add water.
    Bake and cool; punch holes on top of cake.
    Pour strawberry on top; add glaze and cool whip.
    Let stand in refrigerator about one hour.
