Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    In a large bowl beat eggs.
    Add salt, sugar, syrup, shortening, vanilla and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour in a partially cooked pie shell and bake at 325\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
    The nuts will flatten the top, forming a firm crust that will brown nicely if baked slowly.
