Hanna'S Swedish Pepper Cookies(Pepparkakor) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 bars)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix sugar and butter.
    Sift dry ingredients (except baking soda).
    Mix molasses and baking soda.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Roll into log approximately 2 1/2 to 3-inches in diameter.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
    Slice paper thin.
    Put piece of almond in center.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
    Watch out.
    They burn quickly.
