Peek-A-Boo Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    dash of salt
    1 can pie filling (your favorite)
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix together margarine, sugar and eggs (beat in one egg at a time).
    Add vanilla, salt and flour.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Spread half of batter in pan; then spoon pie filling over batter.
    Drop remaining batter over pie filling. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
