Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. sliced carrots
    4 to 5 c. cubed potatoes
    1 1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 c. lentils
    3/4 c. barley
    1 qt. green beans
    1 small box macaroni
    2 cans green peas
    2 cans corn
    4 c. tomato paste
    2 c. crushed tomato or tomato juice
    small head cabbage (optional)
    navy beans or pinto beans (optional)
Preparation
    Use may use liquid from boiled lean ham as seasoning.
