Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
about 3 1/2 c. oatmeal
Preparation

In large skillet, heat to boiling the sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter, vanilla, chopped nuts and oatmeal. Stir well. (May add small amount more of oatmeal if needed.) Spoon in small mounds on waxed paper to set up. (May take 30 minutes to dry and set up.) Store in tight-lidded container.
