Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can beef broth
    2 lbs. sliced zucchini
    1 lg. onion, sliced
    4-5 strips of bacon
    2-1/2 beef broth cans of water
    Salt to taste
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Saute bacon and drain; tear into pieces and put in a large pot.
    Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Boil for 15 minutes.
    Cool and put through blender until smooth.
    May be frozen.
