Crunchy Cheese Snacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. crisp rice cereal, coarsely crushed
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/3 c. butter, softened
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    24 pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine cheese, flour, cereal, bacon, salt, dry mustard, red pepper and garlic powder.
    Add butter; stir with fork until blended.
    Sprinkle water over and stir until dough forms a ball. By level tablespoons, drop dough onto greased baking sheet. Press a pecan half in center.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool on wire racks.
    Makes 2 dozen.
