12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
1/3 c. smooth peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 and grease cookie sheets.
Mix together flour and baking soda and set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until blended.
Stir in flour mixture and blend.
Add nuts and chocolate chips and mix.
Using a tablespoon, form walnut-size balls.
Place dough 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, until golden brown on edges and lightly brown on top of cookie.
Cool on wire racks.
