Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter in mixer.
    Gradually add flour and nuts.
    Shape into logs; wrap in waxed paper.
    Chill until firm. Slice and arrange on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 12 to 20 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven, until slightly browned (depends on thickness of slices).
