Cream Cheese Brownies - cooking recipe

1 pkg. Betty Crocker Super Moist German chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 c.sugar
1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
Pour batter into pan. Mix remaining ingredients.
Drop by tablespoons onto batter.
Cut through batter with a knife several times.
Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
