Lancashire Hot Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef or lamb
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 medium onions, sliced
    2 kidneys, chopped
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, cubed
    3/4 pt. stock
    1 pastry crust
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from meat and coat meat with flour.
    In a 5-pint casserole dish, combine floured meat, onions, kidneys, mushrooms, potatoes and stock.
    Cover with crust.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Remove lid and cook an additional 30 minutes.
