Texas Chile - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
2 to 3 tsp. red chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
water
Preparation

Using cutting board, chop meat into small cubes.
Brown meat in large Dutch oven.
Drain drippings from meat and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
Add salt, pepper, onion, garlic and chili powder. Boil 10 minutes.
Lower heat and simmer for 2 hours.
(Add water as needed.)
Serve with garnish such as grated cheese or chopped cilantro.
