Suzie Bodenhamer'S Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    10 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    small pkg. coconut
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar.
    Add to milk.
    Add egg yolks and salt.
    Cook over direct heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
    Add as much frozen coconut as desired.
    (I use 1 small package for each pie.)
    Top with Cool Whip or any whipped topping.
