Pecan Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    dash of salt
    extra confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Gradually mix in flour and nuts. Shape dough into small crescents or balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 20 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
    While cookies are still warm, dust or roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
