Gingerbread Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
    Add cold water, a little at a time.
    Add margarine.
    Bring to a boil; boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla.
