Popcorn Treat - cooking recipe

4 c. popped corn
2 c. Rice Chex
2 c. Cheerios
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
1 cube margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together popped corn, Rice Chex and Cheerios and put aside in a bowl.
In a saucepan, put brown sugar, Karo syrup and margarine; heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Take off heat and add salt and vanilla; stir.
Pour over dry mix; stir and mix well. Pour onto cookie sheet and spread out.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
After 30 minutes transfer mixture immediately onto waxed paper on another tray. Spread flat. Store in plastic bags when cool. Excellent TV snack.
