Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 to 2 sticks margarine
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2/3 can water
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 small onion
    2 c. crushed corn flakes or croutons
Preparation
    Melt 1/2 of butter and pour in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Break up hash browns in pan and salt and pepper.
