Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Pound both sides of steak with a mallet or edge of saucer.
    Brown in oil in a large skillet. Pour off excess oil.
    Add onions, garlic, tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 4 or 5 servings.
