Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips or butterscotch
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add sugar, salt and vanilla; mix well.
Add chips and pecans and mix well.
Drop on greased baking sheet.
Place in preheated 350\u00b0 oven and turn oven off.
Leave all day or night or at least 4 hours.
Do not open oven until at least 4 hours.
Makes about 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
