Roast Pork With Spiced Cherry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) rolled, boneless pork loin roast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. rubbed sage
    1 (16 oz.) can pitted sour red cherries
    12 cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    3 or 4 drops red food coloring
Preparation
    Season roast with salt, pepper and sage.
    Place roast, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat thermometer registers 160\u00b0.
