Iced Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole blanched almonds
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Stir almonds, sugar and butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
    Stir until almonds are toasted, about 15 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Spread nuts on foil or Teflon cookie sheet.
    Sprinkle with salt.
