Date Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) box chopped dates
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Melt butter, sugar and dates.
    Cook slow for 10 minutes; stir often.
    Remove from heat.
    Add other ingredients.
    Let cool.
    Roll into balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
