Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    In small bowl with electric mixer, beat eggs slightly.
    Mix in corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.
    Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pastry shell.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
    (Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edge.)
    Cool; if desired serve with whipped cream.
