Date Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
    4 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cream and Karo until it's a light tan color (about 10 minutes).
    Add chopped dates and cook until melted.
    Remove from heat and add pecans.
    Stir until stiff and roll out in a wet towel.
    Slice and serve.
