Samantha'S Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large cabbages
    6 green peppers
    6 green tomatoes
    6 ripe tomatoes
    6 cucumbers
    3 large onions
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions; mix together.
    Put pickle spices in a clean piece of cloth; tie.
    Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage mixture.
    Put spice bag in.
    Cook until tender.
    Put in pint jars.
